Carvajal, LaLiga's top-scoring defender
The madridista has hit four goals in the competition so far.
Carvajal is now the leading goalscorer in LaLiga from defence, following his strike last time out in Pamplona. The madridista fullback has found the net against Osasuna, Almería, Valencia and Sevilla and tops the list ahead of four other defenders with three strikes to their name: Yuri, Raíllo, Ricard Sánchez and Cuenca.
The madridista has already recorded his best-ever season in front of goal, beating the 2013/14 campaign when he netted twice. Across all competitions, Carvajal has hit five goals so far this term, including his decisive effort in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final derby that forced the game into extra-time on the way to a Madrid victory.
