This programme is carried out with the Madrid City Council's Sports Department. It aims to increase well-being through physical activity for men and women aged 25 to 60 years who are unemployed or seeking to improve their employment level. This initiative has been extended to include Emprendeporte Plus, aimed at retired people, which seeks to encourage more active and healthy ageing. This allows those who go from unemployment to retirement to continue in the programme, avoiding a sedentary lifestyle.
This line of projects aims to improve the quality of life of participants by encouraging them to identify with the positive values of sport.
The physical exercise and values sessions led by qualified professionals promote skills such as teamwork, motivation for self-improvement, committed self-esteem and responsible autonomy, and the beneficiaries also participate in complementary activities such as occupational and health training, nature excursions, sporting events, etc.
