The Liga Endesa returns, as Real Madrid resume domestic competition after the international break with a visit to Dreamland Gran Canaria on matchday 21 (6 pm CET). Chus Mateo’s charges will be looking to pick up their second win of the week after overcoming Barcelona in the EuroLeague on Thursday.

Abalde, Musa, Hezonja and Campazzo proved the difference in an evenly contested Clasico that was decided in the final minutes. Displaying the same collective commitment will be decisive for Madrid to claim their 17th win in the league this evening, their ninth on the trot. Three weeks have passed since the Whites' last league game. That was also on the road and Madrid consolidated their lead with a superb performance against Hiopos Lleida.

The opposition
Real Madrid have triumphed in the two games they have played against the Canaries this season. The first victory came at the Movistar Arena on matchday seven of the league (83-77). The second, and most recent, came in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey in Gran Canaria in February (63-80).

Jaka Lakovic's team go into this rematch of the cup clash in eighth place and boast a record of 11 wins and 9 defeats in the ACB. Mike Tobey's success on the offensive rebound and Homesley's scoring efficiency are their main assets.
