Real Madrid-Baxi Manresa: leaders aiming for another home win
Chus Mateo's charges are back at the WiZink Center after Friday's victory against Crvena Zvezda (12.30pm CET).

Real Madrid return to league action at the WiZink Center three weeks after the victory against Lenovo Tenerife on 10 March. Since then, the Whites have won both of their away games in this competition against Unicaja and Zunder Palencia. Having already qualified for the playoffs, Madrid will try to continue picking up wins against a Baxi Manresa team that is in the midst of the fight to break into the top eight.
There are eight games left in the Regular Season and victory today would put Madrid well on course for home-court advantage and in the race for the final top spot. The Whites have already secured top spot in the EuroLeague, where they achieved the best Regular Season record in history after defeating Crvena Zvezda at the WiZink Center barely 48 ago. But it will not be a straightforward task. They are up against a Manresa side who are enjoying a great season and who started the day in eighth place.
The opposition
Madrid have racked up seven straight wins between the league and the EuroLeague, while Baxi Manresa have recorded three consecutive victories. They come into the clash refreshed and with a team that excels mainly for its offensive firepower, averaging 84 points per game, and for its rebounding, with the best rebounding in the competition in total rebounds and in offense. Point guard Dani PĂ©rez and outside players Robinson and Badio are the team's top performers.
Last match before tackling April
This afternoon, Real Madrid close March ahead of a crucial month for the club, when the EuroLeague playoffs kick off (23 April to 8 May) and where they could practically seal their position at the top of the standings with the Clasico in between (Sunday 7 April at the Palau Blaugrana). In the first clash, the Whites won away from home (88-94) with 17 in PIR for both Musa and Abalde.
