Real Madrid to face UCAM Murcia in the Liga ACB final
The best-of-five playoff for the title will start this Saturday at the WiZink Center (8:30pm CEST).
Real Madrid will battle it out with UCAM Murcia in the Liga ACB best-of-five final. Chus Mateo's side will have home-court advantage in a series that will begin with the first two games at the WiZink Center on Saturday 8 (8:30pm CEST) and Monday 10 June (8:30pm). The third clash will be played at the Palacio de Deportes de Murcia on Wednesday 12 (8:30pm). If a fourth match is necessary, it will also take place in Murcia on Friday 14 (7pm). If there is a fifth and final game, it will be on Sunday 16 at the WiZink Center (9pm).
This is an unprecedented final in the ACB. Real Madrid and UCAM Murcia will meet for the first time in a playoff for the title. The only previous playoff meeting was in the quarter-finals of the 2015/16 season, when Real Madrid won 2-1. This season, Madrid have a 2-1 record, winning in the league at the WiZink Center (106-92) and in the first round of the Copa del Rey in Malaga (84-79).
