Basketball Super Cup to be played in Murcia on 21 and 22 September
Real Madrid, who have won the last six editions, will be joined by UCAM Murcia, Unicaja and Barcelona.
For the second consecutive year, the Region of Murcia will host the basketball Endesa Super Cup, which will be played on 21 and 22 September at the Palacio de los Deportes. Chus Mateo's charges, reigning champions and winners of last season's edition, will once again be playing alongside UCAM Murcia, Unicaja Malaga and Barcelona. Real Madrid and UCAM Murcia will be seeded in the draw for the semi-finals, which will be played on Saturday 21. The final will take place on Sunday 22.
Real Madrid have won the last six editions of the Spanish Super Cup: against Barça in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022; against Baskonia in 2018, and against Unicaja in 2023. The Whites are the most successful team in this competition with 10 trophies after also winning in 1984, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
