With the win in Belgrade against Partizan, Bayern Munich's defeat, and Monaco's victory, Real Madrid will have to wait for tonight's games to decide their immediate future in the Euroleague.
Madrid will finish 5th and go straight through to the playoffs if Anadolu Efes lose at home to Zalgiris Kaunas. Their rival would be Monaco.
Madrid will finish 6th and go straight through to the playoffs if Anadolu Efes beats Zalgiris Kaunas at home and Barcelona lose to Virtus at the Palau. Their rival would be Panathinaikos.
Madrid will finish 7th if Anadolu Efes beats Zalgiris Kaunas at home and Barcelona beat Virtus at the Palau. In that case, they would play a play-in at the Movistar Arena against Bayern Munich, Paris Basketball, or Crvena Zvezda in the first round. If they win it, they will face Fenerbahçe in the playoffs. If they lose, they will have to play a second play in and if they win it, they would face Olympiacos in the playoffs. If they lose both play ins, they would be eliminated.
