Chus Mateo: “We have to keep fighting because we have another game in 48 hours”

Chus Mateo analysed the game between Anadolu Efes and Real Madrid, on matchday 25 of the EuroLeague, which was played in Istanbul. The coach had this to say: “We tried to fight from the beginning but we didn't start so well and we got back into the game thanks to our defence in the second quarter. We were good in attack, especially from two-point range, not so much from three-point range. After the break we came in a bit tired and they took advantage of it, but we managed to take a 5-point lead. We didn't have a good last quarter and Anadolu Efes built up a good gap.”
“The turnovers hindered us because we moved the ball well. We had 24 assists. We must congratulate them for the victory in a very tight game. We have to keep fighting because in 48 hours we have another game and we have to be ready.”
