Chus Mateo: "We believed in the win"
"Having faith and believing until the end, we were able to win a very difficult game," explained Tavares.

Chus Mateo and Tavares analysed Real Madrid's win over Partizan Belgrade on the last day of the Euroleague. The coach said: "It was a very tough game. They played really well and caused us a lot of problems because both their forwards and their centres started shooting three-pointers and that made our defence hesitate. If we didn't have Tavares or Ibaka we would've suffered, but we went for the win right to the end and we won."
"With this win and the end of the regular season, we're not sending a message to other teams, it's for ourselves. We have huge hearts and I'm very proud of the players, they have fought hard in every game. Winning six games in a row in the Euroleague is very difficult and this win is a great message for us."
Tavares: ‘The team is united’
"It was a very difficult game because they were very effective. It was tough for us from the start but we fought until the end. Their fans also put us under a lot of pressure but in the end we were able to win the game because we had our heads in it."
"The team stuck together in the difficult moments. It was hard for us to defend the three-point line, but by having faith and believing until the end we were able to win. We had to win, we won and now it's in our own hands. Now we have to wait, but we want to be as high up the table as possible."
