Official Announcement: Hugo Gatti passes away

Real Madrid C. F., its president and its Board of Directors deeply lament the death of Hugo Gatti, legendary goalkeeper and legend of football in Argentina.
 
Real Madrid would like to express its condolences and affection to his family, to his teammates, to all his loved ones and to all the clubs he played for.

Hugo Gatti played the most games in the Argentine Primera División: 765 in 26 seasons. With Boca Juniors he won 2 Libertadores Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup and 3 Argentine league titles.
 
Hugo Gatti always expressed his love and passion for Real Madrid, both in the good times and in the hardest moments. All Madridistas will always keep him in our hearts.
He passed away at the age of 80. May he rest in peace.
