Successful Thanksgiving week at Real Madrid City
800 boys and girls from the USA enjoyed a special experience with their team's idols.
The Real Madrid Foundation celebrated an unforgettable week at Real Madrid City to mark Thanksgiving from 25 to 29 November. Some 800 boys and girls from the United States took part in five days of training sessions, learning the methodology and values promoted by the Foundation. As well as enjoying sporting sessions led by the Real Madrid Foundation coaches, the participants got the opportunity to meet some of their favourite players, including Rodrygo, Mylène Chavas and Carla Camacho, who spent some time with the kids that will surely live long in their memories.
The event also helped strengthen ties with the children who were previously part of the Foundation's clinics program in the United States last summer. This successful project, which promotes sport as a tool for training and self-improvement, will be expanded to cover 10 North American cities this Christmas.
The Foundation's impact
Looking ahead to summer 2025, the Real Madrid Foundation hopes to improve on last year's figures, organising 141 camps across the United States and offering thousands of boys and girls the chance to enjoy football while learning the madridista values. This commitment underlines the Foundation's global impact and its efforts to take sport and education to children around the world.
