The Real Madrid Foundation has announced the opening of its first football clinic in Senegal, which will take place in April 2025 during the school holidays. This milestone is the result of a strategic collaboration between the Foundation and its partner A-Kwandies, with the support of Khady Diene Gaye, Senegal's Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture.
Between 10 and 13 December, Andrés Muntaner, Director of the Clinics Department of the Real Madrid Foundation, visited Dakar together with the Mayoress of Golf Sud, Khadija Mahecor Diouf, and representatives of A-Kwandies, to unveil this exciting project. As part of this initiative, more than 100 children participated in a training day at the municipal sports field, where they enjoyed a unique experience training under the methodology of the Real Madrid Foundation.
Objective
The aim of the programme is to offer children from Senegal the opportunity to enjoy and learn through football, using the methodology and values that the Foundation represent. This clinic will not only promote sporting skills, but also essential values such as companionship, effort and respect, bringing the spirit of Real Madrid closer to the local communities.
The first clinic in Senegal is an important step in the global expansion of Real Madrid Foundation's initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to the social and educational development of young people around the world through sport.
