The Real Madrid Foundation, through two permanent socio-sporting schools in Santiago de Chile, is supporting the country this week, where it will be running a clinic for more than 100 children (20% of whom through grants). The experience has been conducted at the German school in the city of Chillán with the Foundation's programme of educational football clinics, which has been organised in collaboration with TMF Sports and has involved the collaboration of various local companies in order to provide grants for participants at risk of exclusion. The Foundation's clinics provide children who are already involved in football with the opportunity to improve their technical and tactical skills through specific training under the guidance of coaches trained in the values education methodology For a REAL Education: Values and Sport and endorsed by the Real Madrid Sports Department. These included former Real Madrid player Mikel Lasa. The educational clinic activities are also a way of generating resources for the sustainability of schools and socio-sports programmes for the integration of vulnerable groups.

In addition to the socio-sports schools and educational clinics in Chile, this week a group of 18 Chilean youngsters visited Madrid with the Foundation to enjoy a unique socio-educational experience through football and learn values through its educational methodology. In addition to the clinic at Real Madrid City, the participants were able to watch Real Madrid's match against Almeria and take the Bernabéu Tour.

Over 3,000 beneficiaries in Chile
The Real Madrid Foundation has been active in Chile since 2009 together with the Friends of Real Madrid Foundation in Chile, with two projects in Santiago de Chile (Renca and Lampa), helping more than 200 vulnerable children each season. In these programmes, the beneficiaries (more than 3,000 over the last 15 years) not only receive sports education in values, but also health care (medical and dental check-ups), talks on prevention and personal hygiene, socio-cultural activities and the promotion of gender equality and children's rights.
