Real Madrid hits 600 million followers on social media
It becomes the first sports organisation to reach the milestone.
Real Madrid now has over 600 million followers across its social media accounts. According to data by analytics tool Blinkfire, it's the first sports organisation in the world to reach the milestone. Our club boasts the highest number of followers across the vast majority of its platforms, particularly on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat and WhatsApp.
Real Madrid operates 37 official accounts across all of its sections (football, basketball, women's football, academy, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Madridistas) in 7 languages (Spanish, English, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese). The accounts allow us to provide information and content to our communities across the globe, and in their preferred language. Members and madridistas are able to enjoy our full range of audiovisual and interactive material on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitch, LinkedIn, Weibo, Wechat, Toutiao, Douyin and BiliBili.
Multi-channel benchmark
This achievement sees the club further reinforce its leadership in the field of digital content. It already boasts the most visited football club website in the world for the eighth successive year, with an average of 8.9 million visits per month, according to data provided by digital analytics company SimilarWeb. Real Madrid also provides fans with free access to its RM Play streaming platform, home to all the club's on-demand video and Realmadrid TV content.
