Real Madrid win Spanish Sports Press Association award
Butragueño was our representative at the 44th National Sports Gala, where we were named Club of the Year 2024.

The Spanish Sports Press Association (AEPD) has presented Real Madrid with an award at the 44th National Sports Gala, held at Valladolid's Teatro Calderón. Our team was named best club of the last year, a 12 months that saw them win La Decimoquinta, the European Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup, LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup.
Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño expressed his gratitude as he collected the prize: “It's a pleasure to be here, in such a welcoming and beautiful city. Thank you so much for this award, which we consider recognition for the hard work, efforts and continuous desire to improve that are the hallmarks of our club. Of course, we have to dedicate it to the players, to Ancelotti and his coaching staff, and of course to all the fans around the world. All together, we succeed in creating the positive energy that sees us achieve so much with such great frequency. Congratulations to all the award winners tonight, you are an example for everyone to follow."
“Our nature never changes. I think the statements by our champions reflect the Real Madrid spirit. Real Madrid is always looking to win absolutely everything. We know it's hard, but it's always the goal. Hard work, sacrifice, talent, unity, a team spirit and pursuit of excellence... That is our nature."
