Real Madrid and the Madrid Regional Government have signed a collaboration protocol for the touristic and cultural promotion of the Santiago Bernabéu. The event, which took place at the Madrid Regional Government's stand at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), was attended by Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, and the Regional Government's Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport, Mariano de Paco Serrano.

Butragueño: "The transformation of the stadium will help us to face future challenges"
"We are convinced that the transformation that the stadium is undergoing will help us to face all the challenges in the future. And this transformation will allow the Santiago Bernabéu to continue to be a temple of football where unforgettable moments are experienced but at the same time, throughout the year, to be able to host all kinds of activities and events that allow the relationship of our stadium with the people who visit Madrid to be ongoing and enriching."

Mariano de Paco Serrano also highlighted the agreement: "Greater Madrid is at the best moment in its history in terms of culture and tourism. This relationship and collaboration with the magnificent project that is the new Bernabéu will be one more step on the road to further consolidating Madrid as the place of choice for all world citizens."
