The Santiago Bernabéu honoured in 2024 Caminos Madrid awards
The Madridista stadium was recognised as the best construction project of the year in the capital at a ceremony organised by the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (Association of Road, Canal and Port Engineers).
The Santiago Bernabéu was honoured at the 17th edition of the Caminos Madrid Awards 82024), which was held at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío. The Madridista stadium, which has undergone a spectacular transformation to become a universal avant-garde icon and an architectural symbol of Madrid, received the Best Project Award at the gala hosted by the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (Association of Civil Engineers).
Santiago Solari, Real Madrid's Director of Football; Francisco Panadero, the club's Director of Infrastructures and Asset Development; and Julio González Tojo, Director of Infrastructures, attended the gala on behalf of the club.
