Real Madrid awarded Globe Soccer Award for the best club of 2024
The Whites won the Champions League, LaLiga, the European Super Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
Real Madrid was acknowledged as the best club of the year at the Globe Soccer 2024 Awards ceremony, which was held in Dubai. José Ángel Sánchez, Real Madrid's general manager, collected an award that honours a spectacular year for our team. "There are no secrets to success, you have to work hard. Football changes a lot on a daily basis and you have to adapt to these changes, whilst always upholding the values of the club," he said.
The first of the five titles to be won in 2024 was the 13th Spanish Super Cup, which was won in January against Barcelona (4-1). In May, we lifted our 36th LaLiga title four games before the end of the season and on 1 June they won the Decimoquinta at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund (0-2). Three titles to which we must add the two from the start of this season: the European Super Cup against Atalanta (2-0) and the Intercontinental Cup against Pachuca (3-0).
