Castilla picked up a point against Linares Deportivo and are unbeaten at home for a fourth game in a row.
Real Madrid Castilla drew with Linares Deportivo in the Primera Federación matchday 21 fixture. Our team, who created a number of chances to win the game, picked up another point at home and are now unbeaten at home for the fourth match in a row. Raúl's team have now turned their focus to their next league fixture, in which they will play away to Ceuta (Sunday, 12pm).
Aparicio tested the goalkeeper with a shot from just inside the area, which Samu Casado kept out with a good save. Linares hit back in the 8th minute with a double chance: first Mario de Luis turned Rafa Llorente's shot away, and then Alvaro Vázquez's rebound went just wide of the post. Three minutes later, Aparicio had another effort after receiving a through ball, but his shot was wide of the target. Neither team was able to create any clear danger from this point on and the game headed into the break with the score level.
Goalless
Once again it was Castilla who were the first to threaten their opponents' goal through Víctor Muñoz, but Samu skilfully saved his shot (52'). Nico Paz tried his luck on the hour mark with a long-range shot that was blocked by the opposition defence. Neither side was able to create any real danger and, despite a good final few minutes from Castilla, the referee brought the game to a close with the score at 0-0.
