Our reserves added three more points at the Di Stéfano thanks to goals from Valdepeñas and Jacobo.

Real Madrid Castilla are still on a roll. Raúl’s team beat Alcorcón at the Alfredo Di Stéfano and for a further week extend the fantastic form which sees them undefeated in 2025. Valdepeñas ('18) and Jacobo ('38) scored the goals in the reserve team’s victory to put them for now in the playoff places, depending on what their direct rivals will do in the rest of the matchday.
Castilla quickly monopolized the ball, but struggled to find space and generate danger. The game was tight and our team took advantage of a set piece to break the deadlock. David Jiménez whipped in an excellent corner and Valdepeñas made a great run to meet the ball first at the near post and make it 1-0.
The goal for our reserve team changed the tempo of the game and, after a couple of attempts, the madridistas doubled the lead before the break. This time it was Campos who got the assist with a long ball into the area which Jacobo controlled and finished with aplomb.
Mario de Luis: decisive
After the restart, Alcorcón sought to reduce the deficit. Kopotun could have scored, but Mario de Luis pushed his shot for a corner. An unfortunate rebound from the resulting corner kick hit Borja Alonso and made it 2-1. In 68', the goalkeeper again came to Castilla's rescue with a great save. These were Alcorcón's best minutes, but in the 70th minute, they were reduced to ten men when Samu was shown a second yellow card and our reserve team could not be prevented from claiming all three points at the Di Stéfano stadium.
