Real Madrid Castilla lost against Atlético Sanluqueño on Primera Federación matchday 20. Our team failed to pick up any points in a match in which they were at a numerical disadvantage from the 44th minute due to the second yellow card shown to Edgar. Zelu gave the Andalusian side the lead in the 15th minute and Nacho Ramón scored the second in the 61st minute. Raúl's side pulled one back in the 81st minute with a goal from Aparicio and looked for the equaliser until the end. In the 95th minute, Castilla claimed a penalty on Palacios but the referee didn't give it and the game ended 2-1.

The game started wide open, with neither team clearly dominating the game or coming close to goal. However, in the 15th minute, Cañizares cleared a shot from Nacho Ramón and Zelu collected the rebound to open the scoring. Our team tried to recover and had several dangerous chances. First, Theo's free-kick went just wide of the post, and then Nico Paz's shot from outside the area went wayward.

Just before half-time, Castilla were reduced to ten men after Edgar was sent off for handling the ball. Sanluqueño took advantage of a mistake when Raúl's side were trying to bring the ball out of their half after the break and Nacho Ramón scored the second (61'). In the 80th minute, Aparicio pulled one back with a great glancing header from Tobias' pass. In the last minute of stoppage time, Palacios went down in the box between two home defenders but the referee did not consider it a penalty and the game ended in a 2-1 defeat.
