Real Madrid are three games away from their fourth final of the season. This evening's away clash will be the first as the Whites look to take a step towards clinching the Copa del Rey. “The cup has given us joy in the past and we're eager to go far,” said Ancelotti in the press conference ahead of the cup tie. The Italian coach will be without the injured Rüdiger and Alaba in his squad for the clash. Valverde, who has scored in both Copa games against Deportiva Minera and Celta, will be available. He is joined by Arda Güler and Endrick, who together with the Uruguayan are the top scorers for the Madridistas in the competition. Between the three of them, they have scored six of Real Madrid's ten goals in the domestic cup.
Leganés
This is the first Copa del Rey fixture at home this season for Leganés, who reached the quarter-finals after eliminating Ciudad de Lucena (1-2), Estepona on penalties (2-2), Cartagena (1-2) and Almería (2-3). The South Madrid outfit are in fine form and have lost only one of their last six matches (3 wins and 2 draws).
