Real Madrid-UD Las Palmas: back in LaLiga action
PREVIEW.

The Santiago Bernabéu is set to host its second game of the week this evening, as Real Madrid host UD Las Palmas on LaLiga matchday 20. It's the first game of the second half of the campaign and the home side will be hoping for all three points to continue their push for top spot (4:15 pm CET).

Our team head into the game after securing a place in the Copa quarter-finals with Thursday's 5-2 win over Celta. At the Bernabéu, Ancelotti's boys have found remarkable goalscoring form, hitting 24 to date to make them the highest-scoring home outfit in the league.

“It's an important period and we have to take the points against Las Palmas,” commented Ancelotti in the pre-match press conference. The Italian will be without both Vini Jr. and Modrić due to suspension, and Camavinga through injury. Alaba is back in the squad though, and Ancelotti told the media he could well get some game time.

Las Palmas
The Canary Islanders started the matchday in fourteenth place with a record of 6 wins, 4 draws and 9 defeats. Prior to the defeat against Getafe last time out, Diego Martínez's team had strung together three wins and a draw in the league.
