Manchester City overcame Leyton Orient ahead of hosting Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League playoff. Guardiola's team staged a second-half comeback having gone behind versus their opponents from the English 3rd Division, before sealing their passage into the last 16 of the FA Cup.
The home side took a 1-0 lead after stealing the ball in midfield. After 16 minutes, Jamie Donley's shot from distance first hit the crossbar and then Ortega's back and on its way into the net. In the second half, Khusanov equalised in the 56th minute and De Bruyne sealed the comeback ten minutes before the end.
