The Real Madrid player, who captained his national team, played 84 minutes and led his side from midfield to pick up their first three points of the tournament. Maximiliano Araujo, Darwin Núñez and Viña got the goals that decided the game. Next up for Uruguay is Thursday's match against Bolivia at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
