4-1: Carvajal, Nacho and Joselu reach European Championship quarter-finals with Spain
The right-back started in the win against Georgia
The Spanish national team reached the quarter-finals of the European Championship thanks to their victory over Georgia in the round of 16. Dani Carvajal started and played the first 80 minutes of the match in which the national team needed to come from behind to reach the last 16.
Georgia went ahead in the first half, but goals from Rodrigo ('38), Fabian ('50), Nico Williams ('74) and Dani Olmo ('82) secured Spain's qualification. The Spanish will face Kroos and Rüdiger 's Germany in the quarter-finals next Friday, 5 July, at 6pm.
