Bellingham: “I'm really happy to be here again with the team and the fans”

Jude Bellingham made his return from injury and played 80 minutes against Stuttgart. The Englishman was interviewed after the game by Realmadrid TV and he said: “It was a great game and the most important thing was to win. There are still things we can improve. I feel much better and I'm very happy to be here again with the team and the fans. It's a special feeling and I feel good.”

“Stuttgart had fewer chances in the second half, but Courtois had a lot of work to do in the first half. Still, we pressed well and won the ball back high up the pitch, but when they broke out of the pressure they played well. Courtois is the best in the world and he makes amazing saves. However, we have to try to make sure he walks away with a clean sheet.”

Room for improvement
“I think we need some time for all of us to get back to our best. Once we click it'll be great. We play great at times now as well. We just need to be more consistent.”

Return to the Bernabéu
“I've really missed these nights. The last game here was three or four months ago, the boys have played a few games and watching them as a fan was making me sad. My last game here in the Champions League was against Bayern and I will remember that night forever. Experiencing that atmosphere again and the affection of the fans is a morale booster for me.”
