Jude Bellingham has been named LaLiga's best player at the awards gala held in Sardinia. The Madrid player has been outstanding in his first season with Madrid and his 19 goals have spearheaded the club to its 36th league title. The winner of this award is determined by the votes of fans, club captains and a panel of experts. The Englishman pipped Kubo (Real Sociedad), Griezmann (Atlético Madrid), Dovbyk (Girona), Kirian (UD Las Palmas), Lewandowski (Barcelona), Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid), Isco (Real Betis), Aleix García (Girona) and Sorloth (Villarreal) in the final vote.

Bellingham, who was unable to attend the ceremony, sent the following message: “Thank you for this award, it's an honour to receive it. I'm sorry I couldn't attend because I have been preparing for the Champions League final. I would like to dedicate it to my teammates, the coaching staff and, most importantly, to the fans of the best club in the world. It's a pleasure every time I play for this team. ¡Hala Madrid!”

The madridista also makes the 2023/24 LaLiga dream team which also includes teammates CarvajalRüdigerValverde and Vini Jr. The rest of the players are: Unai Simón, Ronald Araujo, Miguel Gutiérrez, Aleix García, Gundogan, Isco, Savio, Griezmann, Lewandowski and Dovbyk.
