Real Madrid got the better of Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, and Dani Ceballos spoke to the press following the final whistle: "It was a bit unjust. From start to finish we created loads of chances to put ourselves in front. When we had the game pretty much under control at 1-1, there was a controversial moment. It looked like he was outside, but the penalty ends up going against us and then it's uphill from there. That's when the Real Madrid DNA comes into play, it helps you get through games at the toughest of moments."
“I was frustrated to come off when the result was against us, but we'd created so many opportunities. The team went out with a little bit of anxiety in the opening ten minutes, but we saw they weren't quite at it and we started to believe a bit more. It was a shame to concede that early goal, but we showed the right attitude for the second leg."
The team's display
“I'd like to underline the fact we've played a series of really good games. We have to play with this kind of attitude in every match, regardless of whether we face City or Osasuna. We can't afford to look at the opposition. Today we saw what a competitive team this is, and show we can beat the best by playing without the ball."
