Real Madrid have ticked off yet another European Cup milestone. The comeback against Manchester City on the road (2-3) saw our team become the first ever to claim 300 wins in the continent's top competition. Ancelotti's boys achieved the latest feat for the club in Europe, where they top the all-time win statistics ahead of Bayern Munich (241), Barcelona (209), Manchester United (161), and Juventus (157).

No other European club has played as many games (498) or come through as many European Cup knock-out rounds. Real Madrid also boast the highest number of final appearances and the most titles in history - as well as winning five in a row, and six in the last ten years. The madridistas also lead the historic goal charts, with 1,098 to their name.

Wins since inaugural competition
Real Madrid were the first club ever to lift the European Cup. Their first win came on their competition debut, on 8 September 1955, when they beat Swiss outfit Servette (0-2). Months later, they got their hands on the first of their 15 titles in Paris, with victory over Stade Reims in the final (4-3).
