As was the case on Tuesday in the Champions League, the Madrid stadium commemorated those affected by the tragedy before the league game against Osasuna.
Before the match, a minute's silence was held, a large Valencian flag was displayed on the west side of the pitch and the message “Todos somos Valencia” (We are all Valencia) was shown on the 360º video scoreboard. In addition, the Real Madrid players wore black armbands.
