Rüdiger played the full 90 minutes as Germany beat Italy at the San Siro in the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final. Tonali put the home side ahead in the ninth minute but Kleindienst and Goretzka scored after the break to make it 2-1. The tie will be decided this Sunday in Dortmund.
