118 years ago, Real Madrid won its third Spanish Cup in football. On March 30, 1907, our team played the decisive match of that edition against Vizcaya. The Hippodrome de la Castellana was the setting for the title decider, which Real Madrid won by the narrowest of margins. It was the third of the four consecutive Spanish championships won by the club between 1905 and 1908.

That Spanish Cup was played in a group format with Vigo, Hamilton, Recreativo de Huelva and Vizcaya as opponents. At the end of the competition, Madrid and the Basque team were level on points, so a play-off was played. In this final match, Prast gave Madrid the lead, who held onto their lead and lifted the title.
