Madrid slip to defeat at Villamarín

Real Madrid slipped to defeat at the Benito Villamarín. The Whites were dominant in the opening exchanges and after just ten minutes they took the lead. Madrid went in search of an equaliser, and 13 minutes later the hosts had the chance to make it 3-1 when Cucho Hernández was one-on-one with the keeper but he fired wide. On 80', Endrick almost found an equaliser, but his shot from inside the area went wide, and three minutes later Vini Jr. had an attempt at a shot from the edge of the area saved by Adrián. From there until the end, Ancelotti's men searched relentlessly, at least, for an equaliser, but it didn't come.
