SPECIAL.

On 14 August 2024, Real Madrid added to their legendary silverware list with the
club’s sixth Uefa Super Cup, becoming the club that has won the title the most times. Ancelotti‘s side's opponents were Atalanta and the final was hosted at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The Whites took the lead through Valverde in the 59th minute and Mbappé, who was making his official debut as a Madridista, sealed the victory by making it 2-0 in the 68th minute.

Bellingham’s performance, which included an assist for Mbappé’s second goal, earned him the MVP of the game. In addition, Luka Modrić, who picked up his first title as Madridista captain, further enhanced his Real Madrid legacy by becoming the player to have won the most trophies in the club's history with a total of 27 trophies.

Winning the Uefa Super Cup also further enhanced Ancelotti’s status in the dugout. The Italian coach equalled the record of 14 trophies held by Miguel Muñoz as the most decorated Real Madrid manager. He also became the coach to have won the most Uefa Super Cups.
