Linda Caicedo has been named Mahou Cinco Estrellas player of the month for January. The footballer earned this award in recognition of her good performances for Real Madrid last month. She played in six of the seven matches played involving Madrid and scored three goals: against Atlético and Espanyol in the Liga F and against Real Sociedad in the Super Cup.
After collecting the award at Real Madrid City, Linda Caicedo expressed her delight: “I'd like to thank all the fans for their support and for voting for me. I'm happy and I feel that I'm doing things to the best of my ability and contributing what I can to the team. Let's keep going for more."
