Weir named Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player of February

Caroline Weir has been named Mahou Cinco Estrellas Player of the Month for February, receiving this award in recognition of her strong performances for Real Madrid last month. She played in all four of our team’s games, scoring twice: against Levante and against Real Sociedad in the Copa de la Reina.
After collecting the award at Real Madrid City, Weir was thankful for the recognition: “It means a lot to me because it comes from the fans and, as always, I appreciate their support. With this busy schedule, we are going to need them more than ever this month.”
“I'm very excited to be involved in these kinds of games, they're the ones you want to play in. We will play Champions League, Cup and big league games.
