Yasmim becomes a new Real Madrid player

The Brazilian international left-back joins the club from Corinthians.

Yasmim Assis Ribeiro is now a Real Madrid player. The Brazilian defender began her career at São José back in 2014, before signing for Corinthians in 2017. After two seasons in European football for Benfica, she returned to the Brazilian club, where she has played for the last four campaigns. 

Yasmim, who plays at left-back, joins Real Madrid having won 4 Copa Libertadores titles, 6 Brazilian League titles, 5 Paulista Championships, 1 Paulista Cup and 3 Brazilian Super Cups with Corinthians. She has also played for her national team since 2021, winning the silver medal at the Paris Olympic Games and at the last Concacaf Gold Cup. She also won two South American U-20 Championships for Brazil at youth level.
