The midfielder received the award in recognition of her good performances in the two matches she played last month, in one of which she scored the winner against Madrid CFF. After collecting the award at Real Madrid City, the player said: ‘I'm both happy and content. For me it's always an added incentive when the public vote for you. I'm happy to have won it this month, it really does help to motivate me.'
