Toril: "Whenever there's a trophy at stake, Madrid have to play in the best possible way"
"We don't have to worry about the opposition, we've got very good players and we have to show character," added the coach ahead of the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Barcelona.
Alberto Toril spoke to the media prior to the last training session before the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, where our team will take on Barcelona (Wednesday, 7pm CET). The coach said: "We come off the back of two games in which things have been going very well, we've been improving. We're ready and we're in the right frame of mind to do well. We know that we're up against a good team but, we can approach the match using our own strengths and we're in good shape".
"Whenever there is a trophy at stake, Madrid have to play in the best possible way, but it's just another game. We can cause them problems if we put in a solid performance and we have to try to go out and win, because we've got a chance. The win will come at some point, for sure. I'd like us to play without any inhibitions, to be ourselves like we were against Betis. We don't have to think about the opposition, we've got very good players and we have to show character".
Squad
"Olga is doing well. We rested her this weekend because she's had to cope with a lot of games due to injuries. She's going to train today and we'll see if she's available tomorrow. Brunn is training and has been in good shape for a few days now, but it's a question of how she feels. We'll see if she will make the squad".
