Real Madrid picked up their second victory in as many league games, both on the road. The Whites got the game on track against Betis in the first half with a clear protagonist: Bruun. The Danish player scored the first two goals of the game and even won the penalty that led to the second. Toletti made it 3-0 in the 45th minute for Toril's side, who remained solid in the second half to take all three points and stay top of LaLiga F.

Madrid were dominant from the start and within ten minutes they had the advantage after Athenea's personal move, in which she beat two opponents and set up Bruun, who slotted home. Eight minutes later, Toletti swung in a corner and Dorine's attempted clearance with her head hit the post. Real Madrid continued to string together chances and in the 28th minute came the second goal, also from Bruun. The Danish player won a penalty with a lovely back-heeled back-pass that Dorine blocked with her arm. Olga took the spot-kick, Paula Vizoso saved the spot-kick, but the rebound fell to Bruun, who was quicker than the home defenders to score.

Great first half
The Whites' 2-0 lead after just half an hour did not change the script of the game or their ambition as they appealed for a penalty in the 37th minute for a challenge on Athenea after Dorine had tripped her. They also had the chance to widen the gap in the 42nd minute with a double chance in which, firstly, the home keeper brilliantly blocked Toletti's shot and, later, the post prevented a powerful left-footed shot from Leupolz. The third came just before half-time after a long-range effort from Teresa and a shot from Toletti.

Chances
The tempo dropped after the break and so did the number of chances in both areas. The danger came with two long-range shots. The first came from Bruun in the 61st minute and the ball went inches wide of the home goal. Eight minutes later, Naima García came close to scoring from a free kick. In the 66th minute, Claudia Camacho made her return to action in an official match. Ten minutes later, Misa masterfully dealt with a one-on-one with Zouhir. A convincing win in Sevilla sees Real Madrid stay top of the table.
