Real Madrid recorded their first defeat of 2025. The Whites came away empty-handed from the clash against Eibar on matchday 15 of the Liga F. The Madridistas had numerous chances to score but couldn't turn Andrea Álvarez's goal around despite their efforts. The first chance of note went to Linda C. after just two minutes with a shot from inside the area that went narrowly wide of the goal. After the first quarter of an hour, the Colombian broke down the left wing and played the ball back to Redondo, who fired a smart shot that was deftly tipped away by the goalkeeper.

Despite the Madridista's dominance, Andrea Á. capitalised on a defensive error and caught Chavas out with a long-range effort that ended up in the net (28'). The Whites battled to restore parity before the break, but despite the numerous chances they carved out, they were unable to find a way past the Eibar keeper.

Unlucky Madridistas
After the restart, Madrid pushed forward in search of a goal. Miralles denied the hosts in the 48th minute after saving Redondo’s one-on-one shot and Eva Navarro’s subsequent rebound. The opposition goalkeeper, Eibar's most impressive performer, again denied Madrid an equaliser six minutes later when she saved two consecutive attempts from Redondo in the area. The forward continued to persevere and, in the 78th minute, her header from a corner came crashing back off the crossbar.

Five minutes later, Linda C. had another chance, hitting the crossbar with a fierce right-footed shot from the edge of the area. The Madridistas were out of luck, and must now look ahead to their next game against Real Sociedad in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup (Thursday, 7 pm CET).
