Real Madrid claimed a hard-fought away win against Real Sociedad in the rescheduled matchday 11in the Liga F season. Bruun put the visitors on course for victory with a brace in the first half-hour. After the break, Jacinto netted an own goal to make it 0-3, Lucía Pardo pulled one back for the home side and Alba Redondo made it 1-4. This was the fourteenth win in the competition for Toril's side, who have now increased their lead over their nearest challengers.
Real Madrid had the better of the first half in terms of chances and accuracy. The first goal was not long in coming. It was the fifth minute and Linda Caicedo floated a ball into the box from the wing for Bruun, who couldn't finish the first time, but scored at the second time of asking. In the 27th minute, the Dane made it 0-2 after a move with several rebounds in the box. Before the break, Real Sociedad had the chance to pull one back when Nerea Eizagirre's shot crashed against the post.
After the interval, the home side had a chance to score through Amaiur, but Misa pulled off a great save to keep the ball out. It was soon 0-3 when a cross into the box from Athenea was turned into her own net by Jacinto as she tried to clear it (69'). In the next attack, Lucía Pardo reduced the deficit with a shot at the far post and Redondo rounded off the scoring with a long-range effort (83').
