Real Madrid ran riot at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium. The Whites overcame Valencia by a convincing 7-1 scoreline on matchday 16 of the Liga FLinda Caicedo opened the scoring in the 29th minute before Møller, the star of the game, set the hosts on course for the win with a hat-trick in the space of 15 minutes (38’, 45’ and 53’). Anita Marcos reduced the deficit for the visitors, but Bruun (65’), Feller (81’) and Maite Oroz (91’) added more gloss to the scoreline for the madridistas.

Valencia almost took the lead in the 10th minute, but Misa made a great save to keep out Anita Marcos' shot. Madrid countered four minutes later through Olga, who fired in an effort from inside the area to test the keeper. Madrid bossed the proceedings and, just before the half-hour mark, Linda Caicedo opened the scoring. The Colombian collected a fine pass from Toletti and her shot deflected in off a defender and into the back of the net.

Toril's charges sought to increase their lead and Møller stepped up to the task with a brace before the break. First, she made it 2-0 following a delightful cross from Feller (38') and, seven minutes later, struck a left-footed finish from Athenea's pass from the left to make it 3-0.
