Real Madrid win at Riazor
Deportivo
Real Madrid
Deportivo took the lead in the first half, but goals from Olga, Alba Redondo, M. Méndez and Bruun secured the three points for the Whites.

Real Madrid picked up three points on their visit to the Abanca-Riazor. The madridistas picked up their second win of the week against Deportivo La Coruña on LaLiga F matchday 13. Lara gave the home side the lead in the first half only for Olga to equalise in the 79th minute. Toril's side continued to pile on the pressure and Alba Redondo, M. Méndez and Bruun rounded off the Madrid comeback in the last 10 minutes to make it 4-1.
Madrid had the first chances of the game. First Athenea had a chance in the 14th minute in a one-on-one with Inês Pereira but she sent the ball over the crossbar. And just two minutes later, Leupolz's right-footed shot from inside the area also went skyward. Deportivo's response came in the 25th minute. A mistake on the ball allowed Millene to be left alone in front of Misa, but our goalkeeper kept the attempt out with a superb save.
Despite the Whites‘ dominance, F. Lara took advantage of a rebound after a save by Misa from a shot by Bárbara and put the home side ahead at her pleasure (36’). Before the break, Athenea and Eva Navarro had the chance to draw level with two shots that went just wide of the post. In the second half, Toril made some changes. Weir could have made it 1-1 after heading in a cross from Feller that was deftly deflected by the opposition goalkeeper. But in the 79th minute, the goal finally came through Olga, who struck a great left-footed shot from the edge of the area to equalise.
Madrid comeback
Six minutes later, Alba Redondo scored the goal that would put the comeback on track after collecting Bruun's header in the box and beating Inês Pereira. Not content, M. Méndez scored Real Madrid‘s third goal with a great header from a corner (89’). Bruun made it 4-1 in stoppage time with a right-footed shot from inside the area to put the icing on the cake.
