It all started at the beginning of 2013, when a Madrid named Javier de Jesús decided to create a group of Real Madrid fans with the intention of joining the games in Atlanta, with the aim of founding a rock in the near future. At the same time and in the same city, the Colombian Majin Hemer Sierra gathered another group of Madrid followers with the same idea. By chance, both were found on the social network Twitter and decided to meet to join forces and form a great Madrid player in the city. This meeting was attended, in addition to those mentioned above, Andrés López, Julio Moreno and Thomas A. Baker, considered founding partners of the Peña just like Javier and Majin. Since the year of its foundation, the Madrid Real Madrid Rock is registered under the federal laws of the US and the State of Georgia as a non -profit organization under the legal name of “Madridista Atlanta Inc” and has all the necessary legal approves to operate as such. Lapeña currently has 78 official partners who meet in each match of the League, Copa del Rey and Uefa League of Champions at its official headquarters: the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub (Brookhaven Headquarters) in Atlanta and since its inception its goal has always been to gather the entire Madridism of Atlanta and its metropolitan area to make the legend of our club larger.
