Valencia

Real Madrid were back in a Champions League final just two years after their last and with one objective: to avenge their defeat by Liverpool in Paris in 1981.
The Whites not only won but did so convincingly: 3-0 after 90 minutes, through a display of serious and effective football that did not give Valencia a look-in.
The players under the command of Vicente del Bosque opened the scoring with a Morientes header just before the break. In the second half, a spectacular volley from McManaman and a brilliant run from Raúl put the final to bed. Real Madrid polished their crown and showed it off to Europe in an incomparable setting.
