Andrés Feliz (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; 15/07/1997) has joined Real Madrid for the next three seasons. The Dominican arrives after a great season with Joventut, where he has become one of the best point guards in the League and was named in the best five of the competition with averages of 15 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 16.9 PIR in 27:03 minutes of play. As well as his scoring ability, this 1.86m point guard is also a good defender.

Andrés Feliz joins Real Madrid in the best form of his career. Having carved out a niche for himself among the top point guards in Europe and with plenty still to come. Educated in the United States, he started at Northwest Florida State College, where he was named to the NJCAA All-American first team and was the team's all-time leading passer. He then went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2021 he made the move to Spain, to C. B. Prat in LEB Plata. There, he averaged 18.9 points and in the 2021-2022 season, he was recruited by Joventut. His progression since then has been meteoric and in his third year he has established himself in the elite.

Big scorer
As well as excelling in the Endesa League this season, he has also impressed in the Eurocup. Feliz led Joventut to the playoffs of this competition further boosting his performances: 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 2.1 steals and 19.6 PIR. A Dominican Republic international player who won the gold medal at the Centrobasket Under-17s in 2013, the bronze medal at FIBA Americas Under-18s in 2014 and was the top scorer at the Under-19s World Cup in 2015.

He has starred in exhibitions in the Endesa League this season, such as against Baskonia (27 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 34 PIR) or against Baxi Manresa (28 points). Also, in the game against Bilbao Basket, he made one of the best baskets of the season with a three-pointer from almost 20 meters to win the game at the buzzer.
