Club President Florentino Pérez attends the 120th anniversary of FIFA
Real Madrid is the only founding club of FIFA along with the federations of France, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Sweden.
Real Madrid club president, Florentino Pérez, attended the celebration of FIFA's 120th anniversary. The event, which was held at the Elysée Palace in Paris, was attended by Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, and Emmanuel Macron, president of the French Republic. Also representing Real Madrid were our Honorary President, José Martínez Pirri, and the Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño.
It was on 21 May 1904 that FIFA was created in the rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. Real Madrid is the only club that took part in the founding of the world's top footballing body. It did so together with the football associations of France, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland.
