The users of 'France Football,' through a vote on their website, have recognized the Portuguese player for his 2008 season.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded the B.O.A.T. (Best of All Time) prize, which honors the best edition of the Ballon d'Or in history. The users of France Football selected the forward through an online vote for his 2008 season, during which he earned this individual accolade as a Manchester United player.
It was the first of the five Ballon d'Or awards he has won throughout his career. The other four came in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2017, all during his time at Real Madrid.
